Imagitim Sports is on a mission to transform fantasy golf into a thrilling experience akin to fantasy football. Founder Tim Weingart, an amateur golfer and avid fantasy football fan, saw the potential to improve traditional fantasy golf by focusing on roles based scoring. Headquartered in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Imagitim Sports offers a fantasy golf platform that mirrors the excitement of fantasy football, attracting a wider audience to the game.
Why our game is different
We created role-based golf "positions", similar to football and other team based sports.
DRIVER - This position scores points for the distance and accuracy of each drive on par 4's and par 5's.SHOT-MAKER - This position scores points for the distance and accuracy of approach shots.PUTTER - This position scores points for the distance of putts made during the round.SCRAMBLER - This position scores points for saving a par or better after MISSING a green-in-regulation.DEFENSE HOLE - This position scores points for every bogey and loses points for every birdie scored by the field during the round.
How it works
Your PPS Fantasy Golf team includes one driver, 2 shot-makers, 2 putters, 1 scrambler, and 1 defense hole.
Each golfer in the field appears on the selection list 4 times, once for each position.
You make selections by choosing a golfer for each position to fill your roster. So you can have one golfer as your DRIVER, and completely different golfers as your PUTTERS, SHOT-MAKERS, and SCRAMBLER. You can also select the same golfer for multiple positions.
You'll also select 1 of the 18 holes on the course as your DEFENSE HOLE for the contest.
